puffy-paint-ghost-013This adorable ghost is made with a mixture of shaving cream and white school glue onto a paper bag. This is a great sensory experience and allows kids to get really creative. I especially like that the crafter’s hand prints are captured.

glow-in-the-dark-eye-balls

This craft is sure to please kids of any age and would be really fun to display for Trick or Treat night. The best part of this craft is that it requires lots of painting multiple coats of paint without worrying about keeping in the lines. This would be great for small hands to use fine motor skills.

Pasta pumpkin

This craft takes a small amount of prep work in order to color and glitter the pasta. Wagon wheel and penne pasta are dyed with food coloring and sprinkled with glitter. Once the glittered and colored pasta is dry, your toddler may begin their pumpkin masterpiece. School glue on cardboard is the base for gluing the pasta. Looks like lots of creative fun!

egg carton spidersThe egg carton spiders craft can be adapted to fit your toddler’s abilities. You may consider pre-cutting and painting the egg carton. Your child will enjoy assembling the pipe cleaner legs and gluing the googly eyes. The link will show how this mom used a science lesson on the Tarantula to make things educational.
