Exploring the Complexities of Autism
April 30, 2024
11am-12:30pm
Zoom
Autism is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder impacting many individuals across demographics and settings. At the core, someone with autism presents with challenges in the areas of social, behavior, and communication. However, the diagnosis is more complex and nuanced, impacted by internal and external factors which may require supports and services. This training will explore the diagnosis through a visual depiction of an “autism wheel” and will end with an opportunity to engage in a “fireside chat” with the presenter to discuss what you need as a supporter to best support individuals with autism.
