Here are some fun activities using plastic easter eggs
These fine motor skill activities which also help with color identification.The first is using tongs to deposit small colored pom poms into the egg halves that correspond with the color.The second idea is using the plastic egg halves to dip into paint and then press onto paper to make a colorful decoration.
This is a great “make and take” idea that has the potential to keep your toddler busy for a little while. The idea is to mix and match the egg combinations to create what is on the flash card. If they succeed, the reward may be to eat a tiny cracker or treat inside the egg.
Having your own egg hunt?
This idea is ingenious. I also like the idea of using heavier, glass bowls which are more difficult for kids to tip when dunking eggs in dye. Sitting the post-dunked egg sideways in an egg carton to dry will prevent it getting messed up.
