2024 Advocacy and Policy Day

Registration is now open for 2024 Advocacy and Policy Day! Here is just a sample of what to expect:
- Carole Clancy, Director of Bureau of Special Education PA Department of Education, will kick off the day’s event. Carole will be covering topics such as transition from early intervention to elementary school, exciting new transition and employment initiatives with Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and Office of Developmental Programs.
- Self-Advocates United as 1 (SAU1) will be giving two presentations: Let’s Speak Up is a great empowerment topic which focuses on each person’s right to speak up about all parts of their life and Go Voter! an empowerment topic to inform all people on the importance of voting.
- Navigating the IEP Process-Hear from education advocates on how to navigate the IEP process for a successful school experience.
