The transition to solid foods is a very important step in your child’s development, and, as a parent, you can lay the foundation for a lifetime of good health by feeding them a well-balanced and nutritious diet. Homemade baby food is fresher, more nutritious, better tasting, cheaper and less wasteful than the the jarred stuff- and we all know you want the best for your baby. In this workshop, you will learn how to prepare your own first foods and purees for ages 6 months and up using fresh and seasonal ingredients. We will cover the cost savings of homemade baby food, what tools you will need to get started, storage options, and information about baby led weaning. All are welcome to this fun, relaxing and informative class as we try to help make meal times less stressful.
