Yellow Breeches Anglers & Conservation Association is hosting a Free Fishing Derby for children ages 4-12 at Letort Park as part of Carlisle Summerfair. Bring your own rods and bait.
Thanks to Yellow Breeches Anglers and Conservation Association for providing the fish, and the Mountain Creek Trout Club and the Conservation for providing volunteers to work the derby. On-site registration. Winners will be awarded RIBBONS. Ages 4-12. 8 AM – 8:30 AM IN-PERSON REGISTRATION *all parents/guardians will sign to adhere to Carlisle Summerfair’s waiver and Fishing Derby rules: Parents/guardians must attend event. No child should be left unsupervised. All equipment must be brought. No rods will be provided. Parents can help cast, bait, and unhook the fish, NO REELING IN FOR CHILD. A fish must be reeled in by child. FIVE fish limit. Once five fish limit has been reached you must step away from the creek you are not allowed to continue to fish.
