Feel the water surround you as you tiptoe, stalk, cast, hook, and land some of the most beautiful fish in the world. Guides provide instruction to youth between the ages of 8 and 16 on the types of fish found in Pennsylvania, fish habitats, safety, equipment, outdoor manners, and protecting our water resources. Parents, guardians, mentors, and other family members are encouraged to participate in fishing clinics.
Each participant learns basic fishing skills and gets to put those skills to use. Participants will meet us at Lykens Glen Park, Glen Park Rd, Lykens, PA 17048. We will provide: Fishing Rod and Fishing Tackle in addition to expert instruction. Pre-registration is required, space is limited. A Park Rx wellness program sponsored by Highmark. A portion of the program costs are funded by this sponsorship.
