The Kutztown Folk Festival is the oldest continuously operated folklife festival in America. This nine-day event continues to draw visitors from all over the world, entertaining families while providing valuable insight into the traditions of the Pennsylvania Dutch and their fascinating way of life. There is entertainment for all ages including craft demonstrations, historical reenactments, traditional music, and dancing. This event is held rain or shine.
The festival offers a large variety of kids activities including a children’s stage with puppet shows and storytelling, pony rides and horse-drawn carousel (additional charge for these), petting zoo, hay maze, craft area, and play area (additional fee for this area).
