This is a free event promoting literacy education for families with children, birth through age 5. Our mission is to work with our community to provide resources and support to parents and caregivers. We want to ensure that every child starts school ready to succeed and excited to learn. Our goal is for families to leave Literacy Night Under the Lights with a variety of resources, materials, and ideas. Some of the activities that you will see at Literacy Night include sensory stations, music and literacy, physical education, health and wellness, preschools, our public library, diversity, and many more. Giveaways such as magnetic letters, play-dough, wikki-stix, dry-erase boards, books and free literature will also be included.
