Young children and their families are invited to welcome the new year during the annual “Noon Year’s Eve” celebration. This is an opportunity for kids to enjoy their own special “ringing in the New Year.” Families can also take in a seasonal planetarium show, make a craft, enjoy a snack, listen to storytime, dance, and learn about music in nature to a Steven Courtney performance. The Museums’ famous firefly and balloon drop will be in Memorial Hall at noon. This family-friendly event is free with museum admission and no reservations are required. Planetarium tickets and Curiosity Connection Playtime tickets are limited.
