Safe Kids Capital Region has joined forces with Harrisburg River Rescue to provide two opportunities to participate in a train the trainer program to provide community service professionals with knowledge and tools to educate the community on water safety around open water, boating safety and proper knowledge of different types of USCG-approved life jackets and their use. Additional topics include appropriate supervision, water competency skills and responding to water related emergencies.
The goal of this FREE program is to equip participants with the resources needed to provide best practice education and skills to families they serve.
