**Saturday & Sunday is at 7:30pm** The Popcorn Hat Players Young Acting Company presents The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The much-beloved tale has been adapted into a full-length play performed by students, ages 6 through 18. Follow the adventures of a Kansas farm girl named Dorothy and her pet dog Toto, as they are swept away by a cyclone into Munchkin Country in the magical Land of Oz. Granted a pair of enchanted silver shoes by the Good Witch of the North, Dorothy befriends a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodman, and a Cowardly Lion in her quest to get to the Emerald City and find her way back home. Many trials await them including battling the Wicked Witch of the West and her Winged Monkeys. The performance will feature singing, dancing, staged combat, and the irreverent humor that the Popcorn Hat Players are known for.
