WoofStock is a festival for people and their dogs that aims to raise awareness about pet adoption and the importance of spaying and neutering. Event highlights include musical entertainment, K-9 demonstrations by Summit Search and Rescue and Harrisburg Police K-9 Unit, a low-cost vaccine and microchip clinic, adoptable animals from area rescue groups and shelters, food trucks, and dozens of vendors offering a variety of pet-themed and non pet-themed crafts and supplies. Pet Blessings at 1 pm, at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral, 221 N. Front Street. A dog costume contest is also held.
